Clinical Trials Program
The Clinical Trials Program of the Department of Critical Care Medicine provides resources, facilities, and professionally trained staff to clinical investigators from diverse specialties to conduct research in a professional and ethical manner. Our aim is to facilitate research that may improve patient outcomes and advance clinical practice in the treatment of diseases and conditions affecting the critically ill or injured patient, while minimizing potential risk to the research subject. We ensure timely enrollment, adherence to study protocols, accurate data collection, and close supervision of all aspects of clinical research, in addition to providing open communication between the department, clinical investigators, and study sponsors.

Honest Broker Service:
The CTP supports an honest broker service that provides HIPAA compliant, de-identified data from electronic or paper medical records to researchers both within and without the department.
