| CCM Professor Rounds Schedule |

Colleagues:
We will start conducting Professor Rounds twice weekly beginning September 2 on a rotating schedule through different ICUs. Although I have recruited a cohort of our faculty into a core schedule, you are all invited to join Professor Rounds as noted on the attached schedule (completed through January 13, 2010). Promptly at 9 am, whoever is rounding join rounds. The service attending that day will be expected to save 2-3 interesting patients specifically for Professor Rounds. The fellow presents. One of the senior faculty will be the lead and will guide the discussion and ask other Professors about aspects of the case perhaps in their area of expertise. Others may add to the discussion but the leader will make sure that this remains primarily an educational process. The leader also holds rounds to a 1 hour time limit.
Professor rounds can be run with one Professor but will be more valuable and fun with more of us. If you are not on the schedule but still available, please come.
