• Intestinal wall and splanchnic perfusion and metabolism in shock
• Intestinal wall, intestinal luminal and intraperitoneal microdialysis in montoring gut wall perfusion, oxygenation and metabolism
• Microflow Drag Reducing Polymers (MDRP) in increasing maximal exercise capacity -- pushing the limits of anaerobic metabolism
• MDRPs in experimental hemorrhagic shock -- enhancing tissue perfusion during low perfusion pressure
• Ethyl pyruvate in shock
