As an unprecedented result of the 2008 election to the Board of Regents of The American College of Critical Care Medicine, Drs. Marie Baldisseri and Samuel Tisherman were both elected to serve on this board beginning February 2009 at the Annual SCCM Congress. Dr. Baldisseri (internist) and Dr. Tisherman (surgeon) are currently associate professors of critical care medicine and internationally reputable members of the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Critical Care Medicine. They continue to bring fame and success to our CCM Department and we are most appreciative of their contributions. Our congratulations for these prominent appointments.
