Sandra Peake, PhD, of Australia Presents ANZICS Research Efforts
back

Sandra L. Peake, FJFICM, PhD, is a renowned senior lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Adelaide in South Australia. To a standing room only, she presented the CCM Research Conference on June 10, discussing "The Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society Clinical Trials Group: Past, Present and Future." The impressive area wide, extremely well coordinated ANZICS efforts have now collected information on over 12,000 patients, providing particularly worthy results not available elsewhere in the world. Dr. Peake's presentation resulted in a lively discussion by a most interested audience, members of whom are closely collaborating with ANZICS, such as researchers in the Pitt CCM CRISMA Laboratory.
