The December issue of Critical Care Medicine has a 300-page supplement publishing a record number of accepted abstracts for oral presentations (72) and posters (941), totaling over 1,000 for the first time. Pitt faculty members will provide 6 oral presentations and 32 posters, i.e. nearly 4% of the scientific program. In addition, our CCM Department has many speakers serving on the Congress Faculty. This Congress, taking place in Honolulu during February 2 - 6, 2008, will also have a record breaking attendance of registrants from foreign countries.
