On what has become a yearly welcome tradition, the first-year fellows of various disciplines in medicine, anesthesia, and surgery gathered at Dr. Paul Rogers' home in the country for an outdoor barbeque on June 30th. The fellows brought their spouses, significant others and children to this afternoon party. Backed by sunny weather, the friendly atmosphere was ideal for getting together to chat about previous experiences and occupations prior to joining the MCCTP fellowship in Pittsburgh. Dr. Rogers played host and personally greeted the fellows. Lisa Fabiszewski and Eileen McKenna helped to introduce the first-year fellows to one another, to the second-year fellows and to those critical care attendings who were present at the gathering. After Dr. Rogers' guests finished enjoying their meal, they spent the rest of the afternoon playing softball and soccer.
