UPMC Trauma Program reorganized its leadership in preparation for expansion of the program. Dr. Louis Alarcon is now the Medical Director of the Trauma Program at UPMC Presbyterian and is the contact for administrative and patient care issues at this hospital. Dr. Juan Ochoa and Dr. Andrew B. Peitzman will continue to stay actively involved at UPMC Presbyterian. In addition, they will assume oversight of trauma programs at our affiliate hospitals. Along these lines, Dr. Andrew B. Peitzman will become Director, UPMC Trauma Services and Dr. Juan Ochoa will be Associate Medical Director, UPMC Trauma Services.
