Every year there is an International Course on Critical Care Nephrology in Vicenza, Italy. Dr. John Kellum has played a prominent role at these events. Every three years two prominent participants receive an award for outstanding contributions to the field of critical care nephrology. In 2007 these awards went to John Kellum, MD of our CCM Faculty and the Pitt CCM alumnus, Dr. Rinaldo Bellomo of Australia. We congratulate both of them for this prestgious honor.
