Ake Grenvik, MD, PhD, was recently invited to lecture in South Korea and China. He presented topics on "Simulation in Medical Education," "The Development of CCM," and "Physician Training in CCM." He addressed audiences at Asan University Hospital in Seoul, People's University School of Medicine in Beijing, and the Caritas Medical Center in Hong Kong. However, the most important was his plenary lecture on May 25, 2007 at the opening of The Second Annual Congress of The Chinese Society of Critical Care Medicine in Chengdu, People's Republic of China, where there were more than 1,000 attendees listening to him present "The Development of CCM and Training of ICU Physicians."
