Current Research Interest:
- Factors affecting the course and outcomes of
critical illnesses (sepsis) aimed at improving the care of the
critically ill patient;
- Advanced statistical analysis and database
management with emphasis on the study of genetic and array data;
- Orientation to molecular biology and human
genetics with emphasis on the pathophysiology of critical illness
and response to injury and infection;
- Conduct of clinical
research with emphasis on critical care and human genetics.
