Current Research Interest:

• Organ transplant with focus on novel strategies (i.e. tissue tolerance and gene therapy) to prevent or reverse recipient's body rejection responses with no or minimal immunosuppression
• Medical ethics in ICU with the emphasis on patient-physician and family relationship, DNR/DNI issues and organ donation
• Acid-base disorders, mechanism, diagnosis and treatment
• Cardiac arrhythmias, mechanism, diagnosis and treatment
